Club Racing

Club racing is starting in warrnambool on Saturday the18th of February. Juniors- starting at 12pm with a 10 km out and back course. The seniors to start at 1pm with a 55 km handicap. $5 entry and prize money will be paid for placings depending on numbers. Port Fairy have allowed us to have a race on the first Saturday of every each month. Hope to see you there!! 

South West Coast Tour - Hosted by the Warrnambool City Coucil

For the first time in the South West Coast there will be an CV Open tour. The tour will be on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th April and will cater for A, B & C grade with a womens section within C Grade (No Juniors this year). Saturday will have a Road Race and Time Trial and Sunday will be a Criterium.

The Warrnambool Cycling Club will be able give cyclists a sneak peak of the Course, and prize money very soon, so stay glued to us.

With the backing and support of the Warrnambool City Council, local police and vic roads the tour is confirmed and will be posted on the CV website early in the new year.

You better start training as I can guarantee the course is far from easy and the Sunday Crit may be the hardest stage of the tour. The course heavily favour a strong and attacking rider.

Fresh Board at the Steering Wheel

As the Out Going President I would like introduce the new and improved board of the Warrnambool Cycling Club. It is with great pleasure to see new faces become members and step into become active board members. The new board will be a breath of fresh air for the club and will only move forward with great enthusiasm

In saying this I personal would like to thank Spud and Wayne for there work over the past few years in keeping the club afloat. On and up wards.

The Annual General Meeting

Hi All Club Members,

The AGM will be Wednesday 7th at 7pm at 114 Laverock Rd Warrnambool. If you want a bit of a challenge and gain some invaluable life experiences, becoming a office barrier might be for you. The club needs new blood on the board and gain a new lease of life.

Hope to see as member members as possible turn up. BYO drinks and the will be some lollies and chips to snack on.
